CE Instruments supply a wide range of generators and compressors to
suit your individual needs.
H2 generation
N2 Generation
The operation principle is based on method
of Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) optimized to produce high purity
nitrogen for chromatography applications.
You can forget about gas tanks and long tubes through your
lab.
Basic components, like an internal compressor, a catalytic
reactor for hydrocarbon removal, oxygen sensor implemented in
robust design provide great performance for most GC
applications.
Air Compressor
Key features:
•
Diaphragm-type, oil
free compressor
•
Regulating air pressure at the
outlet
•
Cost-saving solution for small
and medium size laboratories
•
Use optional Catalytic purifier
20.0 to reduce organics down to 0.1 ppm in produced air
flow.
Application
range:
Feed
gas for gas chromatography detectors: FID, NPD, FPD/PFPD, CCD,
SCD
Pneumatics gas
Catalytic purifier
Oxygen and hydrocarbons in air are the most critical impurities for gases in gas chromatography.
SAFETY
HAZARDS
When a hydrogen generator is employed, only a small amount of gas
at low pressure is produced in a given period of time and the gas
is ported directly to the chromatograph. Typically, the generator
has a storage compartment that holds only 50mL of stored gas at a
maximum pressure of 4 atm. In contrast, if the contents of a full
tank of hydrogen were suddenly vented into the laboratory, up to
9000 L of the gas would be released, creating the possibility of an
explosion and/or reducing the breathable oxygen content of the
atmosphere, thereby creating an asphyxiation hazard to the
laboratory occupants.
